Emotional intelligence is not merely a skill to acquire. It is a refinement of consciousness — a softening of the heart, a strengthening of presence, a remembering of who we are beneath reaction.

Across the great contemplative traditions, emotional maturity has always been recognized as a gateway to awakening. The Vedic sages taught that liberation requires mastery of the inner currents of the mind. Buddhism reveals that suffering is not born from feeling itself, but from our unconscious grasping and resistance. Taoism invites us to move in harmony with the subtle tides within. Kabbalah speaks of refining the emotional attributes of the soul so that they mirror divine balance. Hermetic wisdom reminds us that the inner world shapes the outer world — that what is unresolved within will echo through our relationships and our lives.

This 40-day journey is an invitation into that refinement.

Guided by Brené Brown’s Atlas of the Heart, we will gently expand our emotional vocabulary — not as an intellectual exercise, but as a devotional one. To name an emotion is to illuminate it. To illuminate it is to free ourselves from being unconsciously governed by it. Together, we will learn to feel without collapsing, to witness without judging, to respond without hardening.

Each gathering becomes a sacred container — weaving Kundalini Yoga, meditation, breath, mantra and contemplative reflection into a lived experience of awareness. The body becomes our teacher. The breath becomes our stabilizer. Relationship becomes our mirror.

Throughout the journey, we will chant Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha 📿 🐘, invoking Ganesha — guardian of thresholds and remover of obstacles. Emotional growth asks us to cross many inner thresholds: from defensiveness into humility, from shame into dignity, from reactivity into responsibility. This mantra grounds us in steadiness and courage, clearing the subtle obstructions that prevent us from relating in new ways.

Over these 40 days, something quiet and powerful begins to shift. Language becomes clearer. Reactions soften. Compassion deepens. Boundaries strengthen. Presence stabilizes. What once triggered contraction becomes an opportunity for consciousness.

Emotional intelligence reveals itself not as self-improvement — but as self-realization. Not as performance — but as embodiment. Not as control — but as conscious participation in the sacred unfolding of our own humanity.

COURSE DETAILS:

Journey Begins WEDNESDAY, March 4th, 2026- SUNDAY, April 12th, 2026. Early Bird Registration $65 ends Saturday February 21st, 2026, then rate gently rises to $70 until journey begins on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026.

Sessions are LIVE via zoom 2x week: Wednesday and Sunday evenings. All recordings of classes are made available on our private group portal.
